We would like to warmly invite you to attend the KLB Friends Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 23 September 7pm, to find out more about the work we do to support students at Katharine Lady Berkeley's School. The AGM will be held in the school library.

Everything we raise through KLB Friends goes directly towards enhancing the educational experience and opportunities available to our young people. Over the years, funds raised by our school community have helped provide equipment, resources and experiences that benefit students across the whole school, making a real difference to their time at KLB.

Whether you have supported us before or are simply curious to learn more, we would be delighted to welcome you to the AGM. It is a great opportunity to hear about what we have achieved during the past year, discover our plans for the future, and learn more about how you can help.

There are many ways to support KLB Friends, and every contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a difference. You can:

• Join our 80:20 Monthly Draw

• Sign up to Easyfundraising App and raise money while shopping online

• Check whether your employer offers Match Funding

• Volunteer for just an hour at one of our events

• Make a donation through SCOPAY

• Support us by purchasing refreshments when KLB Friends are running a bar or refreshment stand at school events

You do not need to commit to regular volunteering or attend every meeting to make a valuable contribution. Even occasional support helps us continue our work for the benefit of all students.

We are also keen to welcome new members to the Committee. The AGM is the perfect time to get involved. As part of the AGM process, all existing Committee members step down and are eligible to stand for re-election, meaning that anyone can put themselves forward for a role or join the Committee.

We are currently looking to fill the position of Secretary, and we would particularly love to hear from anyone who may be interested in that role. We also welcome enquiries from anyone interested in becoming Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Social Media Officer, Volunteer Coordinator, or Events Planner. There is absolutely no pressure to take on a role if you would prefer to start by simply joining the Committee and seeing what is involved.

Most importantly, the AGM is an informal and friendly opportunity to meet current Committee members, ask questions, and find out how KLB Friends operates. Drinks and nibbles will be available, and there will be plenty of time to chat and discover how you can help support the school in a way that suits your availability and interests.

We hope you will join us and help shape the future of KLB Friends. Together, we can continue to provide valuable opportunities and resources that enrich the experience of every student at KLB.

Your support matters. Your ideas matter. Your involvement matters.
